Hey there, loyal readers and friends!
If you’ve been wondering why my blog has been a bit quiet lately, it’s not because I’ve lost my passion for writing or run out of things to say. Far from it! In fact, I’ve been writing a ton—jotting down ideas, drafting posts, and crafting content that I can’t wait to share with you. But I hit the pause button on publishing for a very good reason: my family.
You see, life has a way of reminding us what’s most important, often in the form of little moments we might otherwise miss. And for me, that reminder came in the form of an incredible family vacation to Colorado Springs. We packed our bags, set our out-of-office replies, and traded the hustle and bustle for the breathtaking beauty of the Rockies.
Our days were filled with adventures that brought us closer together—whether it was marveling at the beauty of nature from the top of Pikes Peak, braving the rapids while whitewater rafting, taking contra dancing lessons, or simply enjoying a quiet moment as we watched the sunset at the Garden of the Gods. These experiences weren’t just about the thrill; they were about the laughs we shared, the challenges we overcame, and the memories we created that will last a lifetime.
As much as I love writing and connecting with all of you through this blog, I realized that these moments with my family are irreplaceable. They’re the kind of memories that you can’t rewind and capture later. So, I chose to be fully present, to soak in every smile, every “wow” moment, and every bit of joy that comes from simply being with the people I love most.
Now that I’m back, I’m more energized and inspired than ever. I’ve returned with a head full of new ideas, a heart full of gratitude, and a journal packed with reflections that I’m eager to turn into blog posts. So, stay tuned because there’s a lot coming your way—insights, stories, and yes, a bit about what Colorado Springs taught me about life, family, and finding balance.
Thank you for your understanding and for sticking around. I can’t wait to reconnect with you all and dive back into the wonderful world of blogging, with a few more stories to tell and a lot more life lived.
Until next time, take care of yourselves and your loved ones.
Cheers,
Kevin
